Here is What You'll Learn

Readers, clients, search engines and AI systems all want the same thing: content they can trust.

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. It’s a key part of how Google evaluates content quality, especially on touchy topics like health. When your content shows clear signs of E-E-A-T, readers, Google and AI systems are more likely to view it as reliable and reward it with better rankings.

That’s why learning how to demonstrate E-E-A-T is essential if you want your content to be visible, credible, and competitive in both search and AI-driven environments.

By learning those trust signals, you can create content that not only ranks higher but earns lasting respect from readers, clients, and search engines, positioning you as the go-to expert in your niche.

This 90-min session will include a series of practical exercises to complete within a week following the session (with my personal support via email) and a replay available for 7 days.

Fundamental concepts in SEO health writing, whether this is new to you or not, including what is meant by "quality content" by Google and AI

You'll understand which key concepts Google is looking at when evaluating content (based on Google’s Search Quality Rater Guidelines). Those concepts also apply to AI-based searches.

This is a quick recap from the "SEO fundamentals" session, which focused more on search intent and other SEO writing best practices.

How to boost your author profile so that you and your work are more discoverable

Learn how to optimize your bylines, author pages, and bios so they work as powerful trust signals for readers, clients, Google, and AI.

Get tips on how to boost your online visibility and authority.

Understanding this gave me the confidence to ask for bylines, since I could now articulate exactly why they matter.

How to spot trust signals in competitors' blogs and do better to outrank them

You’ll learn how to spot E-E-A-T trust signals (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) in real competitor blogs, and reverse-engineer what works to apply it to your own health writing. You’ll also learn how to identify credibility gaps in top-ranking content, so your blogs have a stronger chance of being found by the right people.

When to use personal experience and expertise in health blogs

You’ll get a clearer sense of how to balance experience and expertise, and when it's appropriate and valuable to use personal experience (HCP experience or patient stories) to elevate both human impact and SEO. You'll also see when personal experience should be avoided.

How to improve trust and authority in your content (even without medical credentials)

You’ll start learning some practical EEAT techniques you can actually apply to any type of content to be credible and get readers to trust you (with real examples provided). You'll also get tips and examples of expert quotes in health content.

Bonus: Check your understanding by applying the concepts taught in this session (with my help)

You’ll have the chance to complete a series of practical exercises inspired by real client work during the week following the workshop. You’ll also have access to the session recording throughout this time.

Anyone who submits their work by February 13 will receive personalized private feedback, along with a handout containing my answers and explanations for your reference.

My goal is for you to leave this workshop knowing you can apply these concepts to any health topic using a repeatable, practical framework.

about

About Me - Valerie Leroux MSc.

SEO Health Writer, Editor, and SEO Strategist

I'm a biomedical engineer-turned health content writer who creates credible, SEO-optimized content that boosts brands’ credibility and organic traffic online. I spent over ten years in marketing roles at global medical companies before founding my own consultancy, Bioty Healthcare, in 2022. Through Bioty Healthcare, I also mentor freelance medical writers on SEO best practices, and even help some of them attract ideal clients with high-performing SEO blog content on their website.

Having seen the industry from multiple angles, I emphasize that accurate, trustworthy and empathetic content is key to success in online health communications. I often describe myself as a silly introvert who prefers deep work, thoughtful conversations, and practical learning over boring theory.

My insights have been featured in The Medical Writer magazine and SEO expert websites. I'm also a sought-after speaker on SEO, regularly presenting at forums such as the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) and the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA). Additionally, I have authored patient-focused stories on MedTech Europe’s online platform, translating complex medical innovations into inspiring narratives for broad audiences.

I hold an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne in France, and I have completed executive programs in Business Strategy at INSEAD and Digital Marketing at the London Business School. Fluent in English and French (with a bit of Chinese and Spanish), I have lived and worked in the UK and Hong Kong and now reside in Spain, giving me a global perspective in healthcare communications.

In my free time (or what's left of it besides SEO work), I enjoy hiking, exploring nature, talking to wild animals and practicing martial arts.
